The Year of the Rat

Tonight, we had dinner with some friends to celebrate Chinese New Year and Tet (Vietnamese New Year). We all met at a Chinese buffet type restaurant and everyone had a great time. It was nice to catch up with some of our fellow Vietnam travellers. Incredible to think that the last time we had dinner together (the three families at one time), we were back at the Kiti in Hanoi. Hmmm..... Memories.... Michael and I miss Vietnam dearly and can't wait to go back someday in the (hopefully not-so distant) future. It would be WONDERFUL to celebrate Tet in Vietnam one year....

But this year, we were surrounded by friends and good food. So NO complaints from us at all!!

Here are some pictures from the evening:

*** We would like to thank Dana for setting up this most special evening! We had a great time. We also LOVED the handmade lanterns, mice (see above), and red envelopes.***
