WATCH OUT Martha Stewart!! (OR) Thu (Ha) Many Cooks in the Kitchen

Well, thankfully Iyla (or Thu Ha, as she was formerly known) is feeling quite a bit better and is up to her old tricks. Last evening, she discovered the bounty of cookware contained within our kitchen cabinets. True to her nature (we call her our little Tornado), she jumped right in and helped herself. From the cupboards, Ms. Ha liberated several pots and pans, lids, potato masher, sifter, etc and made quite a clatter-- much to her delight.

She also quite enjoys using large utensils to stir things up in her over-sized mixing bowl. We think she will love this child-sized kitchen for her birthday!!

Iyla loves to watch us cook and even enjoys watching Martha Stewart at her grandparents' house. In fact, she is her favorite 'character' from television-- not Snoopy, Garfield, Oscar the Grouch or Big Bird-- MARTHA STEWART!!! I am coming to the realization that it will be especially difficult to find paper plates with Martha's likeness on them for her birthday party... Can you imagine!?!?

We may just have to go with Elmo this year!!
