Yesterday, we decided to have Iyla try something new-- a fork!!! We handed her a child-sized fork after we had speared some oranges. To our surprise, Iyla used the fork and used it well!!! She even tried chasing some of those slippery oranges around her plate with the fork by herself!!! We will have to keep encouraging her to use utensils as she seems to like to do so-- with respect to the fork at least. The spoon has not been that great of a success... she likes to use it to remove her hair bows at her grandparents' house. Nice. For now, we'll stick with the fork!
