Well, so much for a quiet weekend. Thankfully, Iyla was back to her old self and we were able to venture out quite a bit.
Saturday, we attended a local festival-- Ice Fest which showcases ice sculptures sponsored by local vendors, contests, food, etc. We had fun bringing Iyla to her very first Ice Fest. Here are some pictures from the day:
Getting ready to go to Ice Fest. We bundled Iyla up and had her wear her lovely, hand-made poncho under her big coat(big SHOUT OUT of THANKS to Honey for the poncho).

After Ice Fest, it was time for Mama's Birthday Party. Iyla had a great time and enjoyed eating birthday cake and being the center of attention.

Saturday night, we took Iyla to Toys R'Us for some play food-- to practice for her kitchen. Sunday, we went out for lunch, took a drive, visited an antique mall, and stopped to see Grandma Sandy at her openhouse. Finally, we had some down-time Sunday evening and then it was time for bed-- so we can start another busy week. Time flies!!!
