Iyla's visit to Dr. C

Iyla's appointment yesterday at the pediatrician went very well!! Iyla is growing like a weed and is up to 31 inches and 22.5 pounds. Dr. C is happy with her development and thinks she is right on track! YAY!! Definitely nice to hear. In fact, he went on to say that, he didn't see ANYTHING that concerned him. That is great news!!! He told us to keep up the good work, wished us luck (he saw her in action!!), and sent in the nurse to do the vaccinations. Iyla had three vaccinations and will have yet another set next time too-- will it ever end?!??! Poor baby!! Despite the three shots, Iyla did very well and was pleased to be headed home.
Hopefully, there will be no more doctor's visits until April-- when she is scheduled to go back to the IAC (International Adoption Center at Children's Hospital).
