Our little DAREDEVIL!!!

Over the last few weeks, Iyla has really shown us her DAREDEVIL-side. She never just wants to walk on the floor-- she would MUCH prefer walking on the counter, table, fireplace (brick mantle). Or the fact that yes, our neighbor's child-sized rocking chair is fun to sit in-- it is even MORE (in fact MUCH MORE) fun to STAND on without holding on. Oh my-- I can FEEL the gray hairs popping out!!!


Here are a couple of her hair-graying habits caught on film:





I like to call this one the Independent Stair Climber (Note that there are 13 steps that have a hardwood landing at the bottom). Don't worry-- Emma is there to lend a helping hand (or paw?!) in case our Daredevil were to get in over her head. Great.








Here is Iyla as she has successfully managed to climb the fireplace- all by herself. Goody. Yes, its brick. No, its NOT a real fire-- just a gas one-- but STILL. Enough to make us very nervous.






After her 'climb', Iyla likes to relax and enjoy sitting on the fireplace,before her next stunt.... getting down!!!


*****Notice the little Daredevil's parents were not far behind in ANY of these situations (she's not THAT fast--yet) and the craziest incident (involving Iyla standing up in a stroller by herself,while not holding on to admire the wares at a certain gift shop.... ) was not photographed. We were too busy getting her to sit back down and strapping her in-- TIGHTLY!!! :)
