A blizzard and a weekend visit

This weekend Southern Ohio saw one of the worst snow storms it has seen in nearly 40 years. This one is said to rival the FAMOUS blizzard of January 1978. All told, we received over a foot of snow from Friday through mid-day Saturday.

Iyla and Daddy got to play for a bit in the snow.

Thankfully, by Saturday evening, we were able to make it out of the house. We also were able to spend some time with somc very special visitors, Iyla's Grandpa Jeff and Honey.

Saturday evening, we went for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. Here is Iyla sampling the tasty fare:

Sunday we had a lovely brunch together before our relatives headed north for home.

We greatly enjoyed the time we got to spend with Grandpa Jeff and Honey. Please come back to see us soon!!! Next time, hopefully the weather will be more cooperative!
