When we arrived at the Somerset we were able to meet up with Emilie and her baby Ellie. We met in the lobby and proceeded to a nice lunch in the hotel's cafe. Ellie is ADORABLE and made us SO excited to get Iyla. After lunch we went back to the room for some well-deserved SHOWERS!! Next, we unpacked our four suitcases and set up the baby's room. Her crib is right next to our bed-- hard to believe we will need it on Monday!!! Well, by that point we were EXHAUSTED!! We took a nap that was supposed to be only an hour and a half well, it turned into three hours and then another three hours as we were so tired from travelling. By the time we woke up it was 9pm our time. We decided to visit the desk and take care of a few issues--- broken alarm clock (try explaining that to someone who doesn't speak English fluently!), phone in our bedroom was unplugged and IMPOSSIBLE to plug in, needed a water dispenser, and we also needed to exchange some $$. Well, they took care of all of our needs within minutes-- amazing!! That is also when we became millionaires-- we are millionaires 3 times over-- IN DONG!!! We exchanged $200 American and got $3.238 million dong (pronounced
dohm for our friends at home) in return. Next, we skyped some family and tried room service. Very yummy!!! We are just SO excited to be here. More tomorrow.
