Hello from Hanoi

Well, by now you should know we are here and are enjoying ourselves. Let's see we had a nice drive from the airport, a tasty lunch, and we have unpacked. We also managed to take a 6 hour nap in the middle of the day so we are WIDE awake and the time is nearly 1am locally. OOPS!! Here are our suitcases!! Vietnam here we come!!! Thankfully all 4 bags arrived safely!!

Evan and Janie in the LAX airport at around 3am EST-- excuse the crazy hair and lack of make-up- it was late!! We were in LA for a short while before we caught our VERY full 14-hour flight to Hong Kong.

Here is our flight path near the end of the trip-- as you can see we are just past Osaka Japan and not quite to Taiwan. We still had about 3 hours to reach Hong Kong. After that, we were on to Hanoi. After we arrived, the hotel picked us up at the airport and we had a nice drive to the Somerset Grand.
